More Options
1. Login to ScriptSure: www.scriptsure.com.
2. Search for and select the patient.
3. Click “PRESCRIBE NEW DRUG”
4. Search for and select the medication.
5. Select the strength and format.
6. Click the dropdown for "More Options".
7. The following section will be displayed.
a. Manufacturer: If you want the pharmacy to dispense a specific manufacturer, you can select it here.
b. RxNorm: This will be automatically selected.
c. RxNorm Qualifier: This will be automatically selected.
d. Controlled Substance: This field is automatically selected. However, you can manually change the controlled status of the prescription in rare cases when needed.
e. Prior Authorization: This field can be used to notate a prior authorization.
f. Urgent Prescription Request: Check this box to notify the pharmacy the script is needed urgently.
g. Do Not Fill: Click here to notify the pharmacy not to fill the script.
h. Internal Comment: You can use this field to leave a note within the e-Prescribing platform. This note will not be sent to the pharmacy.
i. Status: Here, you can change the status of the script if needed. Otherwise, it will default to "Active".
