The BAA Required alert signals to the user that the Business Associate Agreement must be accepted before users at the practice can start using ScriptSure. The BAA is a contract between a business associate and a HIPAA compliant entity. This agreement dictates how a business associate may use and disclose PHI and also ensures that breaches or misuse of PHI are prevented.
