Transfer Your Existing ScriptSure Account to New Vendor

Keep your prescription history when moving to a new EMR

If your practice currently uses ScriptSure and is moving to a new EMR or e-prescribing integration, we may be able to transfer your existing ScriptSure account rather than creating a new one. Migrating your existing account allows you to retain your ScriptSure practice information and prescription history while connecting your account to your new software vendor.

Before You Begin

Please review the following before submitting your request.

  • The request must be submitted by a Practice Administrator or other authorized representative.
  • Your new EMR or software vendor must have a ScriptSure integration.
  • A migration fee of $50 per practice applies.
  • Your practice cannot actively use ScriptSure in two different vendor systems at the same time.
  • During the migration window, your existing ScriptSure account will be temporarily unavailable.
  • This migration process is only necessary if the practice needs to keep their existing ScriptSure practice. Otherwise, the new vendor can create a brand new ScriptSure account through their normal setup process. If you are being blocked from creating a new practice, our support team can help.


1. Start your migration request

You'll provide:

  • Practice name
  • Current software vendor
  • New software vendor
  • Contact information
  • Authorized signature


2. We Review Your Request

Our team will:

  • Verify your practice information
  • Confirm authorization
  • Coordinate with your new vendor
  • Prepare your ScriptSure account for migration


3. Schedule Your Migration

Once everything is ready, we'll coordinate a migration date with your new software vendor. During this scheduled window:

  • ScriptSure access will be temporarily unavailable.
  • Prescription activity should be completed before the migration begins.


4. Migration Complete

After the migration:

  • Your ScriptSure account will be connected to your new software.
  • Existing prescription history and supported account data will be available in the new integration.



Frequently Asked Questions

Will I lose my prescription history?

Your ScriptSure prescription history and practice information can be transferred to your new integration.


How long does migration take?

The actual migration typically occurs during a scheduled maintenance window. Your vendor will coordinate the timing with D.A.W. Systems.


Can I prescribe during the migration?

No.

Your ScriptSure account cannot be used while the migration is taking place.


Is there a fee?

Yes.

There is a $50 migration fee per practice.


Who should complete the request?

The request should be completed by a Practice Administrator or another individual authorized to request changes to the practice's ScriptSure account.


I don't know whether my account can be migrated.
