Create a Prescription

The following steps show how to create a prescription:

1. Login to ScriptSure: Go to https://app.scriptsure.com/login

2. Search for and choose the patient you're prescribing for.

3. The patients chart will open and you can click "Prescribe New Drug" to begin; you can also click in the search for a drug box and starting typing a drug name.  NOTE:  When searching, please only type the first word a drug name and do not include the strength when searching.  To search for Valium 2mg, only type VALIUM - you will be able to find the desired strength thereafter.

4. Enter a drug name and from the results select a drug - enter the medication name in the search field.

5. After selecting the drug, you will see options to select the medication format.  Choose a strength from the Drug Details list. Note: Click "SELECT A DIFFERENT DOSE" if you do not see the strength/dose you need.

6. After selecting the strength, you can select a common list of formats that have pre-defined quantity and directions (SIG).  

7. You will then be at the Prescription Preview window and you can complete all appropriate fields for the prescriptions. 

8. When you have completed all fields, you can then click SEND TO PHARMACY.
