The following article applies to use of ScriptSure and Apple Safari web browser. To ensure proper usage on a cell phone or tablet using Safari, you need to check your settings.
Safari version 16.0 or newer is required. Alternatively, you can use Chrome if you do not have this version or higher OR if you cannot upgrade your Safari browser.
If are prescribing on a mobile device and using Safari, you will need to enable pop-us, allow cross-site tracking and allow cookies be sure the fraud check is turned OFF. Please see the screen shots below to show you the settings on an iPhone that must be disabled (circled in red):
- Go to Settings on the phone or tablet
- Scroll to Safari and click on it
- Scroll to Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and turn it off (slide left)
- Scroll to Block Pop-Ups setting and turn it off (slide left)
- Scroll to Block All Cookies and turn it off (slide left)
- Scroll to Fraudulent Website Warning and turn it off (slide left)
- Log out ScriptSure and then log back in and try to ERX again. (it is also best practice to CLOSE any open Safari pages as well).
Your settings should look like this when done.
The Screenshot above shows the view on a phone. For LAPTOPS:
Go to the Safari app on your Mac.
Choose Safari > Settings, then click Privacy.
Select “Prevent cross-site tracking.” and untick Block All Cookies
For Pop-Up settings:
- Click Websites
- Click Pop-up Windows on the left
- Select Allow from the pop-up menu for the website
If the above steps still don't work, we suggest a revisit of how these steps are executed as following all these steps should clear out the issue.
