System Requirements

ScriptSure Cloud E-Prescribing (ERX) is a web-based application, so no software installation is required, unless you are using the ScriptSure mobile application. To use ScriptSure Cloud ERX, you only need a compatible web browser.

The recommended browsers are:

• Google Chrome
• Apple Safari
• Microsoft Edge (New Edge, released in 2020)

ScriptSure Cloud ERX is also compatible with other modern web browsers. For the best experience, please make sure you are using the most current version of your browser.

ScriptSure Cloud ERX is a responsive web application and can be accessed from devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets. The application automatically adjusts to the device's screen size. ScriptSure can also be accessed through our mobile application found in the App Store or Google Play Store under "ScriptSure". The application icon is a red and white pill on a blue background.

Requirements for Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS)

Providers who want to electronically prescribe controlled substances must have a smartphone to approve prescriptions using the ID.me Authenticator application (soft token).

The ID.me Authenticator app can be downloaded from the appropriate app store and is compatible with:

• Apple iOS devices
• Android devices

If a provider prefers not to use a smartphone, they may use a hard token instead. Hard tokens can be purchased from Yubico and must be compatible with the required USB, USB-C, or Lightning port. The token must also meet the FIPS 140-2 requirements specified by the DEA.
