ScriptSure Cloud E-Prescribing (ERX) is a web-based application.  There is no installation needed in order to use ScriptSure Cloud ERX other than a web browser.  Recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Apple Safari and the New Edge browser from Microsoft released in 2020, but the application is compatible with other browsers.  If you need assistance downloading Google Chrome, Apple Safari or the New Edge, use the following links to download the recommended browsers:

The application is a responsive web-site and can be used on devices such as phones and tablets.  The screens will automatically size to the devices screen-size.  There is not an application to download to use the product, simply access by going to the website via an approved browser.

NOTE: Please sure to use the most current version of each browser.

For providers that want to electronically prescribe controlled substances, a smartphone is needed in order to have the capability to approve prescriptions using an application called ID.me authenticator (soft token) that is downloaded via the app store on the phone.  Apple iOS and Android compatible phones can be used.  If a provider prefers not use their phone, they can purchase a hard token from Yubico.  These tokens require a USB, USB-C or lightning port and must be FIPS 140-2 compatible per the DEA.
