DESCRIPTION - BAMBOO PMP Gateway: ScriptSure has the Bamboo PMP Gateway integrated into the platform, allowing providers to access a report of a patient's opioid and other controlled-substance medication history.
The report displays controlled medications that have been prescribed and filled within the past 12 months. This report is not generated by ScriptSure. Instead, it is retrieved through the Bamboo Health connection, which combines medication history data from participating state Prescription Monitoring Programs (PMPs), also known as PDMPs, into a single report.
Please note: The Bamboo PMP report is not a complete medication history. It only includes controlled-substance medication history reported by participating state PMP/PDMP systems. Non-controlled medications will not appear in this report.
Steps to Set up BAMBOO PMP Report Access in ScriptSure for Users:
1. Go to: https://go.bamboohealth.com/ehrrequest and complete the steps detailed on the screen
Depending on the State, the setup process may vary, costs may vary and the information needed to setup an account may vary. After you create the account, you will move through BAMBOO's setup process similar to this:
