Basic Search
You can search for a patient from the Home Screen in ScriptSure using the Find Patient search box. This field accepts a patient’s first name, last name, or Chart ID/Medical Record Number.
Note: If ScriptSure is integrated with your EMR, you can also search for and select a patient using your EMR’s search screens. The selected patient will then appear within the ScriptSure interface.
Tip: When searching for a patient, enter one field at a time—for example, search by first name, last name, or Chart ID/MRN, not a combination.
If you're looking for John Smith, type "John" or "Smith" into the search box, not both together. If you’re unable to find a patient but are certain they exist in the system, refer to the Advanced Search section of this article to search using other fields such as Date of Birth, ZIP Code, Phone Number, and more.
Steps to Search for a Patient:
- From the Home Screen, search for the patient last name, first or chart ID/MRN:
