ScriptSure Application Access for a User - Invite and DAW controlled

Modified on Fri, 11 Jul at 5:07 PM

Managing user access in ScriptSure involves a secure and controlled invitation process, coupled with regulatory compliance settings like DAW (Dispense as Written) permissions. Administrators must ensure that users are properly invited to the platform and that their access—especially related to prescribing and pharmacy instructions—is appropriately configured.

This article explains how user access to ScriptSure is granted, how the invitation process works, and how DAW (Dispense as Written) permissions are controlled.

Inviting a User to ScriptSure

What Is the Invite Process?

ScriptSure uses an invitation-based onboarding system to ensure that only authorized personnel can access the application. Invitations are sent by administrators to new users, who must then complete their registration.

Steps to Invite a User:

  1. Log in to the ScriptSure Manage Site using an admin account.

  1. Go to the “Users” or “User Management” section.
  2. Click “Add New User” or “Invite User.”
  3. Enter the required information:
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Role (e.g., Provider, Supporting User, Admin)
  • Click “Send Invitation.”

How DAW Access is Controlled:

Only licensed Providers with verified credentials (e.g., DEA, NPI, State License) can use DAW options within ePrescribing.

DAW settings are enabled or disabled at the user level by administrators or controlled by the system’s prescribing configuration.

Admin Settings:

  1. Navigate to the user’s profile.
  2. Scroll to the ePrescribing or Permissions section.
  3. Check if “Allow DAW Prescribing” is enabled.
  4. Modify settings as appropriate and Save changes.
