How to Reset a User’s Password or Resend an Invitation

Maintaining secure and uninterrupted access to ScriptSure is essential for clinical and administrative staff. As an administrator, you may occasionally need to reset a user’s password or resend an invitation to a user who has not yet completed registration.


This guide walks you through how to perform both actions using the ScriptSure Manage Site.


Resetting a User’s Password

When to Use:

  • A user has forgotten their password.
  • The password needs to be reset for security reasons.
  • A user's account is locked due to multiple failed login attempts.


Steps:

  1. Log in to the ScriptSure Manage Site using your administrator credentials.
  2. Navigate to the "Users" section.
  3. Use the search bar to locate the specific user by name, email, or username.
  4. Click on the user’s name to open their profile.
  5. Locate the “Send Email" button and click on it's dropdown list.
  6. Select "Reset Password". It will send a password reset link to the user’s email on file.









Resending a User Invitation

When to Use:

  • A user has been invited but never completed the registration process.
  • The original invitation email expired or was never received.
  • The user accidentally deleted or lost the invite email.


Steps:


  1. Go to the "Users" section and search for the name of the provider.
  2. At the bottom of the user's tile, locate the arrow beside the view button.
  3. Click on that arrow to “Resend Invite”.






This will generate a new invitation email with a link to complete account setup. Ensure the user checks their spam or junk folder if they don’t receive it within a few minutes.
