Maintaining secure and uninterrupted access to ScriptSure is essential for clinical and administrative staff. As an administrator, you may occasionally need to reset a user’s password or resend an invitation to a user who has not yet completed registration.
This guide walks you through how to perform both actions using the ScriptSure Manage Site.
Resetting a User’s Password
When to Use:
- A user has forgotten their password.
- The password needs to be reset for security reasons.
- A user's account is locked due to multiple failed login attempts.
Steps:
- Log in to the ScriptSure Manage Site using your administrator credentials.
- Navigate to the "Users" section.
- Use the search bar to locate the specific user by name, email, or username.
- Click on the user’s name to open their profile.
- Locate the “Send Email" button and click on it's dropdown list.
- Select "Reset Password". It will send a password reset link to the user’s email on file.
Resending a User Invitation
When to Use:
- A user has been invited but never completed the registration process.
- The original invitation email expired or was never received.
- The user accidentally deleted or lost the invite email.
Steps:
- Go to the "Users" section and search for the name of the provider.
- At the bottom of the user's tile, locate the arrow beside the view button.
- Click on that arrow to “Resend Invite”.
This will generate a new invitation email with a link to complete account setup. Ensure the user checks their spam or junk folder if they don’t receive it within a few minutes.
